Ormsby Place is a  family oriented residential neighborhood in west Edmonton . The community is bounded on the west by Anthony Henday Drive, on the south by Callingwood Road, on the east by 178 Street, and on the north by 69 Avenue.  The Anthony Henday Ring Road provides access to destinations north and south of the city including the Edmonton International Airport. 

Named after A.W. Ormsby , the man who developed Edmonton’s street grid system , Ormsby Place consists of over 80% family households . The community consists of single family dwellings, townhouses, duplexes and apartments. 

The area offers parks and playgrounds for resident enjoyment as well as a local elementary school. Willowby Park is a large green space located directly within Ormsby Place providing a shared park area for residents to enjoy. Other nearby parks include Wilfred Park and Callingwood Park. Amenities in the area are plentiful as West Edmonton Mall is located in very close proximity to the community.
