Eastwood is located in the north-central part of Edmonton. Development began in 1906, with most development happening after World War II. Most of the neighbourhood is located south of 122 Ave with a portion of it falling north of 122 Ave. The southern portion is bounded on the west by 89 St and on the south by 118 Ave. The east boundary is an uneven line following parts of Fort Road and part of the CN Rail right of way. The northern portion of Eastwood is bounded to the north by the Yellowhead Trail corridor, on the west by 86 St, and on the east by 82 St.

The Coliseum LRT station can be found right at the eastern boundary of Eastwood, giving residents easy access to Commonwealth Stadium, the downtown core, University of Alberta and other areas of Edmonton as the LRT continues to expand.

At 86 St and 118 Ave you’ll find the Eastwood Community League, established in 1923.
