Dovercourt is an older residential neighbourhood located in northwest Edmonton. The area was named in 1910 but housing was not developed until the 1940’s – 1960’s. The area is bounded by 118th Avenue on the south, the Yellowhead Trail on the north, 142nd Street to the west and the St. Albert Trail to the east.
The neighbourhood is composed of 80 percent detached single-family homes, with low-rise apartments, semi-detached units and row houses comprising the rest.
