Crawford Plains


Crawford Plains is located in the Millwoods area of south Edmonton. It is bounded on the west by 50 Street, the north by Millwoods Road East and 16A Avenue, on the east by 34 Street, and on the south by Anthony Henday Drive.

Crawford Plains belongs to the community of Southwood. Development of the neighbourhood started in 1970s, continued through the 1980s and was completed in the 1990s. The majority of homes in Crawford Plains are single-family dwellings (77%) . Row houses account for approximately 17% and the remaining 6% are duplexes. Most of the homes ( approximately 84%) are owner occupied.

Residents have easy access to shopping at Millwoods Town Centre, which is only minutes away. For further shopping, entertainment and amenities, South Edmonton Common is less than 10 minutes away. Residents also have quick access to health care services at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital.  At the heart of the neighbourhood is a multi-purpose elementary school and recreational area.
