Central Edmonton, also known as downtown Edmonton, is the urban district in the core of the city that’s bordered by the North Saskatchewan River. Central Edmonton offers every kind of amenity and includes some of the city’s most famous districts like the arts district, Churchill Square, and the Warehouse District. It also is developing with new areas such as Blatchford, the Brewery District and the new Rogers Arena.  There are alot of condos that are in this area and the homes that do exist in the area tend to be older and harder to find in the core of Downtown as Condos dominate that specific area.  The new Museum is located close to the City Hall and is the heart of alot fo the Summer Festivals in Edmonton and Winter Festival Activities. You’ll also find a ton of trendy local restaurants such as Rostizados, Tres Carnles, Craft Beer, Mercer Tavern and the list goes on you can also find the historical Fairmont Hotel Macdonald. This area in past was not as active and it continues to develop more of a night life and buzz.
