Brittania Youngstown, a residential neighbourhood in west Edmonton, was originally developed during the 1950’s as part of Jasper Place.  Britannia Youngstown extends from its western border of Mayfield Road to its eastern boundary of 156th Street, and runs north from Stony Plain Road to 107th Avenue.

Low rise apartments are the most common form of housing structure in Brittania Youngstown, although single-family homes also comprise 40% of the dwellings. . Semi-detached houses and row houses are also present. The average house price within the area is $337,000 and average household incomes are around $56,000.  Households are smaller than the norm, with almost 40 percent of them consisting of a single resident.

Mayfield Commons, the community’s shopping complex, is a popular destination for Britannia Youngstown residents. The Commons offers retail shopping, dining, and other amenities.
