Allard is a newer community located in Southwest Edmonton and is one of the 15 neighbourhoods that make up the area known as the Heritage Valley. Similar to all communities of the Heritage Valley, all streets within Allard are named after noted Edmontonians.  The neighbourhood is bounded by James Mowatt Trail to the west, 25th Avenue to the north, Blackmud Creek to the east, and 41st Avenue to the south.

Development began in Allard in 2009 and continues today with more new homes being built.  The area consists of 50% single family homes, 35% townhomes and 15% condos.The average list price in Allard is $454,850 and the average annual family income is around $117,000.

Allard has a number of parks and green spaces for residents to enjoy, as well as close proximity to the Blackmud Creek area in nearby Callaghan. The Anthony Henday and Highway 2 are all just a short distance away making the area easily accessible to the rest of the city as well as areas south such as the International Airport.
