Every Friday we are planning to highlight on the blog a reason why we love to live in Edmonton. Edmonton and the surrounding area is an amazing place to call home and we are excited to share with you some of the places that make it unique.
The Edmonton Corn Maze
Location: 26171 Garden Valley Road, Spruce Grove, AB
This week we are featuring the Edmonton Corn Maze, a popular family attraction during the fall in far west Edmonton/ Spruce Grove. The enormous maze is cut into a field of corn approximately 15 acres in size. It is open from August to October each year and is themed around a local event or attraction. The Edmonton Corn Maze is part of “The MAiZE”, the largest corn maze company in the world .
The Corn Maze takes approx. 1 – 1.5 hours to complete in full and contains a series of clues within to assist you in finding your way. Once you have completed the maze, there are a variety of other activities on the property to entertain grown ups and children alike, activities include jumping pillows, pedal carts, and farm animals.
The Maze is the perfect autumn outing for families, couples, and groups alike. You are even free to pack a picnic meal and enjoy the picnic tables which are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Fire pits can also be reserved and firewood is available for purchase.
