Every Friday we are planning to highlight on the blog a reason why we love to live in Edmonton. Edmonton and the surrounding area is an amazing place to call home and we are excited to share with you some of the places that make it unique.

William Hawrelak Park is a beautiful 68 hectare park located in the River Valley of Edmonton, featuring a large grassy space, many picnic sites and a 5 hectare lake that’s perfect for skating on in the winter.
The park hosts numerous festivals and events throughout the year, including the Servus Heritage Festival, the ITU World Triathlon, the Ice Castle and Silver Skate Festival. For more information on the Silver Skate Festival, check out yesterday’s blog on Things to Do.
