The Mutant Conservatory’s Feature Pyramid: 9626 96a St NW, Edmonton, AB

Only on until March 5 – don’t miss out on the Chinese New Year themed bio dome at the Muttart Conservatory. The Muttart is fun for kids and grown ups alike with its four varying ecosystems located in the iconic pyramids downtown.  Regular Admission rates apply. and finally… Last but not least… its the last weekend for Hawrelak Park’s beautiful Ice Castle- 9330 Groat Road, Edmonton, AB

Created by Utah ice artist Brent Christensen, the Ice Castle is the only one of its kind in all of Canada and is a spectacular sight to behold and explore.  The Ice Castle is an acre sized winter wonderland and is constructed by hand using only icicles and water with thousands of LED lights embedded as they go.  There are numerous photo spots throughout including a frozen waterfall, an ice maze and for the little ones there is an ice slide and multiple tunnels to discover.  Tickets range in price  and the full rates and schedule can be found HERE.
