Edmonton Blues Festival: August 19-21 (Heritage Amphitheatre)

Head down to the Heritage Amphitheatre in Hawrelak Park this weekend for a weekend of fun & blues music.  Performers as far as New Zealand will be making the trek to perform in the blues festival. Join around 3000 festival goers as they immerse themselves in blues and street food!

Edmonton Dragon Boat Festival: August 19-21 (North Saskatchewan River Valley)

Stroll down to the River Valley this weekend and watch or participate in the Dragon Boat Races. Each boat is lead by a drummer that keeps the paddlers in sync, and the drumming can be heard throughout downtown the whole weekend!

Edmonton Marathon: August 20-21 (Shaw Conference Centre)

This family friendly marathon weekend has tons of option for everyone. Not only is a more serious event that can qualify you for the Boston Marathon, it also has fun runs, walks and much more. For information all the different types of races, check out there website. See below for price details!
