Neighbourhood Facts
The neighbourhood, which owes its name to seventh Canadian Prime Minister Wilfrid Laurier, is composed primarily of owner-occupied, detached, single-family dwellings, with a small number of low-rise apartments as well. The majority of construction took place between World War 2 and 1960 with a third of the home constructed in the 1970’s. This is a well established and quiet area with many residents over the age of 60.
