 Glastonbury is a newer neighbourhood in the far west of Edmonton. This family friendly community is located between the main roadways of the Anthony Henday Drive to the east and the Whitemud Drive to the north. The close proximity of these major roadways provides Glastonbury with easy access to all areas of Edmonton, making this a conveniently located neighbourhood. 

Neighbourhood Facts:

The residences throughout Glastonbury are diverse in housing style but all were built post 1995 with the majority going up between 2000 and 2010.  The most common type of home is the single family dwelling, accounting for 72% of residences,  another 18% are duplexes and the remaining 9% of properties are split almost equally between townhouses and apartment buildings. Glastonbury has very little resident turn over as almost all (98%) of residences are owner-occupied with only 2% being rental units, making this an established place to call home. 

Parks and Green Spaces: 

The neighbourhood offers its residents a very active Community League and the league works hard to promote a sense of belonging within its boundaries by hosting various neighbourhood events throughout the year. The community also boasts numerous paved walking trails which connect the area to the nearby communities of Granville and the Hamptons , as well as water features and playgrounds throughout.
