Evansdale is an established neighbourhood created in the 1960’s and is located in North East Edmonton. Home to affordable housing and excellent public transit, Evansdale is an excellent community to purchase a starter home. The area is bounded by 97 Street to the west, 153 Avenue to the north, 82 street to the east and 144 Ave to the south.
The neighbourhood was named after H.M.Evans – mayor of Edmonton in 1918. The population of the community is approximately 5660 residents and 60% of the properties are single family homes with the remainder consisting of townhouses, duplexes and low rise apartment buildings.
