Community Spotlight: Bonnie Doon

Bonnie Doon is a neighbourhood in East Central Edmonton.  The west end of Bonnie Doon was a part of the City of Strathcona starting in 1907 and became a part of Edmonton when Strathcona and Edmonton merged into one in the year 1912. The boundaries of the neighbourhood extend from the North Saskatchewan River Valley in the north to Whyte Ave in the south, the Mill Creek Ravine in the west and Connors Road in the north-east.

Bonnie Doon is conveniently located near Downtown, Whyte Avenue and the River Valley. It also is the heart of Edmonton’s Francophone community and hosts University of Alberta Faculty of Saint-Jean Campus.
