Avonmore

Avonmore is an Edmonton neighborhood named after Algernon William Yelverton, Viscount of Avonmore. Developed in the 1950s, the neighborhood consists primarily of single-family homes. Mill Creek Ravine is a notable feature, offering recreational opportunities via the North Saskatchewan River Valley park system. Avonmore offers a community newsletter, programs like un-pack and play, yoga classes, and a babysitter registry. While there is no public school, Avonmore Park provides a great outdoor space for families. Argyll Road has excellent restaurants such as Brit's Fish and Chips and Boston Pizza.
